O.N.Damodaran, a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, aged 60 years with his wife P.Sreedevi aged 53 years are the hosts. Their first, daughter, a dental surgeon by profession, second son, a Graphic Special Effects person and the last daughter, a post graduate degree student all are away from home and hence this hospitality endeavor gives them enjoyment and engagement.

Water supplied will be filtered, boiled and cooled or mineral water. Usually stainless steel utensils washed and dipped in boiled water and fresh banana leaves are used for serving food.

There are two options

Option One: A team of 25 to 40 can come to Olappamanna, say by 11 Am, see the whole Mana and surroundings and have a lunch at Olappamann Mana in typical old style. Return back to their lodging place.

Option Two: A team of 25 to 40 can come to Olappamanna Mana, say by 5PM in the evening (before Sun Set), see the whole Mana and surroundings. Then watch the entertainment at extra cost, which should be booked earlier, just after sun set and have a typical old style dinner at Mana. Return back to their lodging place.

Entertainments at Extra Cost

Entertainments like KalamEzhuthi Pattu (picture of Goddess Kali is drawn by hand, using natural colors and certain rituals are performed), Kathkali, Thayampaka. The rate may vary, but around $40/- for Kalamezhuthi Pattu, $300/ for Thayampaka, Kathakali etc. But these can be shared by a group of tourists.

For this year, all guests visiting after 22 Apr 08, can see this rare ritual Kalam Ezhuthi Pattu , ABSOLUTELY FREE, as we have our own ritual for approximately one year.

Certain Restrictions.
There are certain restrictions here to preserve the sanctity of the Family Deity. Foot ware is not permitted in side the Main Building. Smoking is not permitted in the Main Building. Non-vegetarian foodstuffs and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited in whole Mana premises.

Cooking Classes - For those who are interested, cooking classes for Pure Vegetarian Food will be provided.
